Microsoft Access Application Development - Our Specialty

Microsoft Access entered the market with a huge impact, partly due to it's initial $99 price.  That was version 1.0, and that was where we began developing applications in Microsoft Access. During that first project, the release of version 1.1 made Access a very stable platform and we became able to offer amazing things to our clients that could be done, ad-hoc, with existing data.

We've continued to work with Access for all of it's history, version to version, and are able to produce masterful screens, reports and build in powerful, customized business logic.  We also specialize in data conversion of files from and to any source. Need more horsepower? Upsize your Access database to SQL Server. Split Databases and build in customized linking logic for your home office or network. Create specialized database extracts to be used on sales and field associates laptops that can rejoin information to the home office.

Historical Microsoft Access Projects:

Human Resources Desktop: First commercial application was done using access 1.0 and released under Access version 1.1.  Written for CompuServe / Collier-Jackson: Developed HR Desktop application to extend the life and marketability of character-based minicomputer payroll and personnel systems. Access Program called upon WRQ Reflection using DDE to acquire access to minicomputer systems, run extract jobs, download and import data into access for full reporting and charting capabilities for data that were previously only available in minicomputer reports.

Day-Trading Software: Developed System using Access for prototype and original production releases of Pro-Trade system. Pro-Trade was a day-trading system that grew into an institutional stock trading offering. Pro-Trade submitted trades to and received trades from the NASDAQ Level II system.

Construction Scheduling, Estimating and Billing: Written for a small general contractor with several crews in the field, this application supported end-to-end business of submitting proposals, scheduling and controlling work and workers, billing and accounts receivable. The application was specialized in it's ability to track work at various properties for multi-property customers.

Multi-Version Remote Backup system: Written in Vb6, this system used Access Databases on client and server to track multiple versions of files that were backed up, compressed and encrypted for a commercial, multi-user remote backup product.
